\"MROapprovedGraphic2015red\"Registration is now open for the 8th annual Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Reaches Out<\/a>\u00a0(MRO) campus-wide community service day,\u00a0which takes place on Tuesday, Sept. 22. More than 1,200 Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ volunteers are expected to fan out across the greater St. Louis area to share time and talents with 90 local agencies and organizations.<\/p>\n

Volunteer slots are filling quickly, so register now! Visit the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Reaches Out\u00a0project list<\/a>\u00a0<\/a>for more information on specific volunteer opportunities.<\/p>\n

On MRO Day<\/a>, classes beginning before 4 p.m. are cancelled so the entire campus community is able to participate. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Reaches Out engages Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ students, faculty, staff and alumni in a wide variety of service opportunities<\/a>,\u00a0including painting, landscaping, arts and crafts with children and adults, tutoring and reading with children, animal shelter work, sorting donated goods, office assistance, accompanying elderly residents on a zoo outing, light construction and much more.<\/p>\n
