Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ today announced the expansion of its online degree programs<\/a>. Twelve additional programs \u2014 two master\u2019s degrees and 10 bachelor\u2019s degrees \u2014 will be offered in the fall of 2019 to allow students to pursue an accessible and flexible education.<\/p>\n

The expansion of Ä¢¹½´«Ã½\u2019s online degree portfolio aligns with the University\u2019s student-centered approach, which aims to meet the higher education needs of all adult learners, regardless of location, age or circumstance. Working to create greater access to higher education, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ features convenient online programs, accepts transfer credits and does not require application fees or entrance exams. \u201cWe are thrilled to continue our online programs expansion. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers increased options to determined students whose life situation may not permit a traditional campus or classroom experience,\u201d said President Mark Lombardi, Ph.D. \u201cNew, specialized programs, including data science, will position students to capitalize on growing career fields, while liberal arts staples such as English and history will strengthen the quality of the students\u2019 education.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new online programs build on nearly 150 years of academic excellence at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ and a tradition of innovation that adapts to meet the changing needs of students. Nationally ranked Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ continues to grow impressively, reporting a 16 percent overall increase in enrollment this year and educating students from 50 states and 60 countries. The university also boasts a 97 percent job placement rate for graduates and will soon expand cutting-edge learning spaces across campus.<\/p>\n

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Ä¢¹½´«Ã½<\/strong>
\nFounded in 1872, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ is a comprehensive and nationally ranked private institution with an enrollment of more than 9,200 students. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers more than 90 degrees at the undergraduate, master\u2019s and doctoral levels to students from 50 states and 55 countries. Among recent graduates, 97 percent are employed or attending graduate school. More than 17,000 Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ alumni work and live in the St. Louis region.<\/p>\n
